SNKRX - An Arcade Shooter Roguelite with a Unique Twist
SNKRX is a new arcade shooter roguelite game by a327ex that puts you in control of a snake made up of characters, each with their own attacks, passives, and classes. The game is inspired by the auto-battler genre and offers a unique twist on the traditional arcade shooter gameplay.
The gameplay of SNKRX is simple yet engaging. Your snake can't stop moving, and you have to turn it left or right to steer. Each character in your snake shoots automatically when close to enemies. Combining characters of the same class together unlocks unique class bonuses. You can also buy characters from the shop using gold earned by clearing arenas. Buying enough copies of characters levels them up, making them more powerful.
SNKRX features over 40 characters, each with unique attacks and passives, and 10+ classes, each giving stat boosts and modifiers to your snake. There are 25+ levels of increasing difficulty as the run progresses, and 15+ Steam achievements to unlock. The game also has a great soundtrack by Kubbi that adds to the overall experience.
